A Beautiful Day?

What a beautiful day it is today ! Every day is a beautiful day really, wouldn’t you agree? Some readers might not agree with this statement.  And that is OK.  Everything is in the eye or the mind of the beholder. You might have a splitting headache right now, hardly a nice day.  Someone just put a dent in your car without leaving their  name, and you’re fuming. The snow is that deep, you can’t even get out of your driveway, It’s raining cats and dogs just now that you have this precious day off work. There are millions of reasons why you might not have a Beautiful Day.    But it always is…

A Matter of Choice

As said before, it’s really only a matter of how you look at things. Does a Beautiful Day only depend on things going right?  Isn’t it simply wonderful that you are alive?  That another day has broken? That you can see  the face of your children, your partner,  your parents?  That you can admire the sky with its stunning clouds,  the millions of  stars, feel the warmth of the sun, which makes everything grow?  A New Day full of opportunities and possibilities has presented itself.  How about looking at it from that perspective? Could that make you feel a bit happier maybe?

This is The First Day of the Rest of Your Life.

Say for instance you are 50 years young at present and you happen to live for another 50, (not unusual nowadays). That means you have…18.250 days left.. to enjoy your life…Oh, what a wonderful feeling that must be.

Don’t waste another minute

MAKE THE MOST OF IT– RIGHT NOW–TODAY!  Don’t waste another minute. Tomorrow you will ONLY have ….18.249….days left..!  Shock horror.!

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

Here is to a Beautiful Day… Cheers..!!

About the author

Tina Blauw

I am a 85-year-old lady who started blogging to get my message out to as many women as possible. My main reason for writing is to make you as a women, of sixty and beyond, realise that you probably have another (40) years of living ahead of you. What are you going to do with those years? Some years ago I coined a phrase: “Always be Curious About Life…that Way You’ll Stay Right in It..!” My wish is to impart that into you. I live on the Gold Coast, Australia with my lovely husband. We moved here from Melbourne a couple of years ago to be closer to our daughter and her partner, our 2 grown up grandchildren and their partners and our 4 small great-grandchildren with #5 on the way :)

Thank you Tina, we all need a little reminder that life is what you make it – a positive attitude is appearing to be lost these days, your words are encouraging.x
