Many Healing Possibilities
There are so many different healing therapies and treatments available. It’s hard to know where to start. Some of them, you might not ever have heard about, while others might be quite familiar to you. Several will be mentioned in this post, just check out the list below. In follow-up posts, my intention is to every time describe and explain two or three of these unorthodox treatments in more detail.
The list: -Meditation- Acupuncture- Reiki- Reflexology- Homeopathy- Ayurveda- Many forms of Psychic Healing- Aroma Therapy- Feng Shui- Bach Flower Therapy- Crystal & Gem Therapy- Colour & Sound Therapy-
Do They All Work..?
I really couldn’t tell you. The thing I can say, though, is that many have been successfully used for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Take acupuncture and meditation for instance. Many of these ancient therapies can now be scientifically proven. Over the last decades, neuroscience has obtained a great deal of information about the brain. Every new discovery makes us wonder what else the brain is capable of. It is the most complex organ of the human body, with about 100 billion neurons.
Small Wonder We Are Such Powerful Beings..
Imagine, if we could convince ourselves of the enormous potential we possess? We have the capability to think and make choices. Therefore, choose to BELIEVE IT. There is much evidence available on that subject, which helps in accepting it a bit easier. Every human is capable of greatness..!
Although it’s called “alternative” healing, it really is as old as homo sapiens. Earlier humans might have guessed it’s existence and even used this “energy” to their advantage. Sadly, they were not in a position to either understand it or describe it. We are lucky to live in this day and age, as many of these “mysteries” or “miracles” can now be scientifically explained. Furthermore, it makes it more easily acceptable to those who otherwise thought it to be a lot of baloney. Realising that we humans have such incredible powers within us, is simply awesome.
Try Hard to Make Use of It
We should try hard to make use of it. Hopefully, more and more people will begin to BELIEVE in their potential and capabilities. Eventually, we might realise, that we can use that power to heal ourselves and to change ourselves. Churchill said: “To improve is to change, to be perfect is to change often”. Imagine what that change could mean for the world at large?
But this post is about healing, hence we’ll concentrate on that for now. We’ll attempt to change the world another time. If you have tried all kind of pills and potions up till now for your health issues, you might as well look into your “own power” for a change. Be curious..! What-Possibly- Can- You- Lose…..? Do some research, read books about it. I’ve already mentioned two very interesting books in this post, (see below) … I challenge you to find out more about the power we all possess but usually do so little with.
